The Fast Trendline Momentum (FTLM) and Slow Trendline Momentum (SLTM) indicators show the rate of price change, FATL and SATL are calculated similarly: Momentum indicators:

FTLM(bar) = FATL(bar) – RFTL(bar)
STLM(bar) = SATL(bar) – RSTL(bar)

The main difference between FTLM and the classic momentum indicator is as follows: it uses closing prices processed by a digital adjuster, rather than the closing prices themselves. Therefore, FTLM looks smooth and regular compared to the classic momentum technical indicator.
