This article Display News Calendar written by Slobodov Gleb and read at: https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/1502 shows how to obtain the data displayed on the chart. The file contains descriptions of writing a simple and convenient indicator that displays in the working area the main economic events from external Internet sources.

Another source I use for this indicator is the indicator SimpleMarketInfo, which can be found here http://codebase.mql4.com/en/code/10000 Made by born2trade (2010.11.25). It displays upcoming news events 1 hour before and 30 minutes after the event. It also shows active sessions etc. It can view all news events. changes to this. I do want to be able to choose the type of news I like to see, and the vertical lines are not displayed correctly on the chart when the local time is not broker time. There are some other changes...

Found the indicator Clockzv1_2 auto.mq4 ( https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/109854 ) from "Jerome" This version allows me to write the upcoming DST times for the local market. ST/DST changes are unique to each time zone. To know when the market is open we have to know the correct local time...

Found a way to edit my post so I replaced the old indicator with a new and improved version
