The standard davas box indicator is asymmetric. The program logic of its calculation is arranged such that the generation of upper and lower channel boundaries is performed without the use of antisymmetric algorithms.
This fact is perfectly acceptable when analyzing stock price changes, but if we take the example of Forex, this approach seems rather unnatural. In the standard version of the indicator, the calculation period of the indicator is fixed, equal to 5, which imposes great restrictions on the application of Darvas Boxes. Taking this logic into account, attempts have been made to enhance the indicator by making the calculation logic completely symmetrical and arranging access to the channel generation cycle.
