Market Profiles are a widely used tool by futures traders.

Market Profile MetaTrader is the standard solution for market profiles, showing the statistical time distribution of prices, price areas and control values ​​during the day's trading session. This indicator is based on simple price movements and does not use standard MetaTrader 5 platform indicators.

The author implemented different colors for the indicator: green for the Asian session, blue for the European session and purple for the American session. The duty cycle is M30 and M15.

The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base of mql4.com on March 23, 2006. In MQL5, this indicator is presented in the MarketProfile.mq5 file.

In addition, a version of this indicator is available (MarketProfile_.mq5).

This indicator can be added to M5, M15 and M30 charts to show an intraday market overview. Although the M5 time frame is more accurate, the M30 is recommended for greater clarity. Additionally, it is a standard method of calculating market profiles. Three different color schemes are available for outline block drawing.
