In this version the Chandler Momentum Oscillator smoothed price is used in the calculation. Allows improved filtering of trend directions.
The Chande Momentum Oscillator (CMO), developed by Tushar Chande, is a technical indicator that attempts to capture momentum. Chandler discusses this indicator along with many others in his book The New Tech Trader: Boost Your Profits by Inserting the Latest Indicators . The CMO range is from -100 to 100. The +50 and -50 values are assumed to be overbought and oversold conditions for the market.
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base of mql4.com on February 20, 2008.
