The indicator is very simple: it displays signals triggered using fractals and the original ZigZag indicator without any further filtering.
It never repaints past signals, so it is useful to study the true behavior of ZigZag (which does repaint) as a trading tool over time.
You should do this by supplementing the signals with your own trading strategy or editing the source code.
As you can see, the ZigZag indicator repaints many signals over time.
This depends on the original MetaQuotes ZigZag indicator - shipped with it.
