It's time to bring my opinion to the MQL4 community as well. Many people don’t know if a broker is honest with them when it comes to spread betting.

I've developed 2 small indicators that allow you to see in real time how the spread has performed over the past few minutes, or whatever you think your platform can accommodate. In my experience, a few minutes is enough to see this. All of this is performed in real time and you will not have past data as MT4 does not store such information - unless we program it.

During the news period for most currency pairs, spreads almost doubled or tripled - and this was on a demo account. I can't wait to see what will happen on a real-account. Once you apply the indicator it will start recording the last 500 ticks of spread + bid + ask or whichever last tick you specify in the parameters. You will have very little data at first, but after a minute you will see that the chart has more data.

The included template allows you to apply them to your chart simultaneously - or you can apply _x_BidAskLogger first and then _x_SpreadLogger in the same subwindow or separately - as you wish
