The indicator displays the color and instantaneous rate of change of Heiken Ashi candles on a histogram, with a moving average representing the average change. If the Heiken Ashi bar suddenly changes color and the new bar is above the moving average, the change may be strong enough to last for a while.
Moving averages can also be used to detect range-bound markets and can be a good addition to your trend following or short-term trading strategy.
This indicator is a slight variation of the Heiken Ashi oscillator and depends on the original Heiken Ashi indicator - attached -.
