Asymmetry is the ratio of the third central moment to the cube of the standard deviation.
The third-order central moment is the average deviation of selected members from the sampling variance. The RSI indicator calculates asymmetry since the standard deviation caused by decimal quotes is too small. Then we get the trend indicator. High value represents the beginning of a new trend. Low values indicate a flat trend.
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base of mql4.com on May 4, 2011.
