I decided to publish the basics of maximus Expert Advisor for public consideration. This includes identifying mergers in the chart and trades based on the mergers. Price consolidation is the point on the chart where the market gets stuck and is temporarily unable to make a clear move. Maximus used to track such consolidations, plot them on a chart, and then trade when the consolidation boundaries were hit. The two green lines at the top define a buying consolidation (which can also lead to a sell trade in the opposite direction), and the two red lines at the bottom define a selling consolidation (which can also lead to a buy trade). The white lines determine the start and end points of the merge. If you don't see the white line, it means that a consolidation is determined based on pivot points (pivot points for EURUSD can be 1.2500, 1.2600, 1.2700, etc.). It's that simple.

parameter. The parameters for setting the EA are similar to those used in previous versions of maximus (see information in my profile):

Proceeding method. New to Forex, your straightforward "I'll test it in three years and kill you in one minute" strategy will fail you. No consultant can withstand 3 years of testing on the same parameters. Even if you could, you would certainly make close to zero profit. So the basic approach is the same as described for other versions of maximus (see my profile for more information). To summarize. Optimize 1-1.5k changes in 1-2 weeks, match the most profitable parameters, and trade next week based on these new parameters. EURUSD H1 chart, all calculations are based on the 15-minute time frame.

Brainstorm ideas. My purpose is to discuss this integration-based deal. Looking forward to hearing any suggestions for integration improvements. For example, the chart shows: 1) consolidation somewhere in the lower part of a long-term uptrend, and 2) consolidation in a downtrend that has been exhausted. These are different types of mergers. It may be reasonable to consolidate one type of allocation, for example, to open different batches that match different merges. Please tell me what you think!

Miscellaneous. I do not read inside information and any discussions should be made public and developed on this page. If you asked me to implement a 4-digit deposit method, other tools, modify it to work without global variables, explain for once what a merge is, etc., I would yawn at you.
