The EA captures the long-term trend by crossing the moving average on the 15-minute time frame.

The EA has a 50 pip noise filter that prevents the EA from jumping on every little move.

Tested on the 15-minute EUR/USD currency pair between 2001 and 2010, with a historical accuracy of 90% and good results.

TP = 350 points;

EAs fail most of the time, but one TP overcame losses 17 times!

So generally speaking it is profitable.
