This indicator is a modification of the classic indicator Awesome indicator .
It calculates the average of two smoothed rate-of-change exponentials . More precisely, the indicator has 5 inputs: shortmean, mediummean and longmean representing three exponential averages (18, 40 and 200 respectively by default). The last two inputs represent the exponential average of the rate of change between short mean - medium mean and medium mean - long mean.
In the image below, you can display the indicator on the USDJPY hourly chart, entering 5, 34, and 200 for the index average and 12 and 18 for the rate of change average. You can compare this indicator with the classic Awesome indicator, which takes as input the index averages 5 and 34.
