The indicator was developed by the Brazilian analyst Odir Aguiar (Didi) and consists of a "moving average" known as the famous needle Didi, which allows the visualization of reversal points.
The concept is very simple, the formation of an indicator working on the axis or center line 0 appears when you insert the 3 moving averages shown (one of the three periods, one 8 and the other 20). A needle pattern occurs when the intersection of the average lines is closest to line 0.
