The indicator EMA is similar to the moving average.
The calculation is as follows:
AMMA[bar] = ((AMMAPeriod-1)*AMMA[bar+1] + price[bar])/AMMAPeriod
25-day Average Modified Moving Average works as a filter. Recommended in "Using Moving Averages for Commodity Futures Trading".
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and released in the code base on August 7, 2007.
