Do you want to know if your history files are complete or have gaps (i.e. data loss for certain time periods)?

This EA reports all gaps in the history file for the selected symbol and time range.

Launch the EA in the Strategy Tester, uncheck the "Use Dates" checkbox and model "Only Opening Prices" for the symbol and timeframe you want to check.

The EA will print out all historical gaps in the log.

Gaps on weekends are ignored (assuming the broker closes on Friday and reopens on Sunday), but possible gaps during holiday periods (such as Christmas) are reported.

The only input parameter Minimum Gap Bar Chart can be used to filter out gaps shorter than a certain number of bars, for example ignoring tiny gaps due to lack of trading by brokers during periods of low liquidity.
