It’s a small contribution to a wonderful community. My indicator is inspired by the work of Edgar Peters. It is based on the Bolerslev model of the fractal volatility indicator. ARMA and ARCH models can help understand forecasts.

This indicator grows when the market is more volatile. Changes or variations are also predictable. When the trend is up or down, almost your indicator value is greater. All criticisms are accepted to improve this metric.

I added an improvement to get better results()

In version 1.1, you can invert GARCH (1,1) or just keep the default behavior. If you have already downloaded it, please re-download it to test the improvements

Version 1.2 is better and can customize more parameters. I used this new code and the results were great.

• It is not recommended to run any document directly on the real disk. At least observe the simulated disk performance for 2-4 weeks first.

FAQ

Can MT4 and MT5 be used interchangeably?
Usually cannot be used directly. EX4/MQ4 corresponds to MT4, EX5/MQ5 corresponds to MT5, and the source code needs to be compiled in the corresponding MetaEditor.

Is this resource guaranteed to be profitable?
cannot. EAs, indicators and scripts can only be used as trading tools, and the results depend on parameters, market environment, spreads, slippage and risk control.
