The Cumulative Volatility Index indicator is used in Cumulative Volatility Index construction (Cumulative Volatility Index - ASI), which represents the cumulative sum of volatility index values.
The Accumulation Index draws a "real" market line that reveals the relative strength and trend of the market. Support and resistance lines are drawn on the chart, and their breakdown is interpreted as indicator signals.
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base on February 7, 2007.
