The indicator will display the pattern name by manually placing XABCD points and automatically search for the next Potential Reversal Zone (PRZ).

This idea was first published by Snorm as the DavincisKiss indicator. I have modified Harmonic Ratios.mq4 by alltraders and added more required commands.

I improved this indicator so it looks like this:

I added some features as shown on the right side of the diagram.

With the click of a button function, you can set up the utility as follows:

You can also use your own database of harmonic patterns. Just change the number of inputs "Filename" and "DatabaseRecord" in the input tab (see image above). You don't have to worry about entering inappropriate numbers into the "DatabaseRecord" because the indicator will adjust if the given number is too large. If the number entered is too small, the database record will only be read based on the number entered. Save the database file in in the file.

The above data is a database of harmonic patterns and must be saved as Harmontrad.csv and the file placed in terminal_data_folder\MQL4\Files.

After the indicator is loaded, place XABCD at any point and if the pattern is found, the left panel will show the name of the pattern, otherwise it will show AB compared to CD.

If we want to search for the next possible PRZ, place text D to the right of the last candle (Time[0]), if text D is above text C, the indicator will search upward for PRZ and vice versa.

Enter the text and name it ON, then insert the PRZ quantity we want to search for.

We can add more patterns in harmontrad csv, but you need to change the number of database records at line 622 as shown in the image below:

If point D disappears, just press Ctrl+B to delete the text and name it D and ON, as shown below:

This forms a new text D.

FAQ

Can MT4 and MT5 be used interchangeably?
Usually cannot be used directly. EX4/MQ4 corresponds to MT4, EX5/MQ5 corresponds to MT5, and the source code needs to be compiled in the corresponding MetaEditor.

Is this resource guaranteed to be profitable?
cannot. EAs, indicators and scripts can only be used as trading tools, and the results depend on parameters, market environment, spreads, slippage and risk control.
