This is a custom indicator for MetaTrader 4. ATR is known as a market volatility indicator and ATR provides insight into the strength and weakness of the market over a specified period.
Average ATR (AATR) is a simple yet effective indicator to confirm any price action trading strategy. This compares the ATR to its own average.
The confirmation rule is simple, if the ATR line crosses upward from below the ATR average, then scan the price action or place an order at that time based on your signal.
