A real working idea is as follows. If there is a trend, it consists of impulsive and corrective waves. The general characteristics of pulse waves are large column fluctuations and rapid movement towards the existing trend.
The goal – enter the market at the onset of impulse.
The EA works in the following way. Use the Alligator line to track the trend on the H4 chart. Track volatility on the M30 chart and enter when it breaks out towards the trend. Additional condition — the extreme values of the bars of increased volatility must break above the maximum (minimum) 24 bars, i.e. outside their price range.
The EA operates on the M30 chart. It should work fine on any financial instrument, 4 and 5 digit quotes. With slight optimization for gold, high volatility currency pairs may be suitable. Optimization can be done by opening price.
I'd love to hear proposals for modernizing the idea itself!
