Trend Expert Advisor based on Escort strategy - Expert for MetaTrader 4

EA trading opens orders according to the trading strategy and sets take profit and stop loss. It protects the position by moving the stop loss to breakeven and maintains the position by trailing the stop loss.

The strategy uses indicators from the MetaTrader 4 terminal: two-period moving average, MACD indicator and CCI indicator. The parameters of the indicator can be found in the EA settings. The strategy, EA setup and test results are detailed in the video.

The EA is set up for the GBP/USD currency pair. This archive contains .set files: optimized for 2015 (2015) and with universal parameters (univ).

This trading strategy is not the "holy grail" and there are losing trades out there. The EA retains an open market order and skips new signals for this strategy until the order is closed. The best results were detected on trending currency pairs. This is not a fully functional trading robot and it may incorrectly open and maintain trades on certain account types. It may lose deposits during changes in market volatility, prolonged periods of inactivity and force majeure events.

m00021 — Improved version includes an additional filter for the trading system to open positions on allowed days and times of the week. The time is the hour corresponding to the terminal time, which must be considered during initial settings. The EA displays a table in the upper left corner of the screen with a row containing the current time and date and a row containing information about whether the trade is allowed or not. The default setting is 6 to 20 hours. To allow trading throughout the day, set it from 0 to 23 hours. The days of the week are listed in the initial settings, to enable trading on the desired day set "1", to disable - "0". By default, trading is allowed on all days of the week.
