The London Breakout Indicator and Strategy is a complete London Breakout Forex system which is very popular among currency traders and is called the London Forex Rapid Indicator System. It only sends out one signal per day at 3:00 AM Eastern Time or 8:00 AM London Time . So how did London's breakthrough work?
This indicator is based on the previous Tokyo trading range as well as a secret trading component. At the opening of the London trading session, this indicator will indicate whether to go long, short, or stay on the sidelines.
Additionally, the London Forex Peak Indicator System will provide you with accurate entry levels, stop loss (aggressive and conservative) and take profit levels (aggressive and conservative). All details can be seen on the trading chart.
The London Breakout Indicator system can provide you with trading signals you can do as is or add additional chart analysis as suggested to filter the signals further . While the system can be used by traders of all experience levels, it may be helpful to practice trading on an MT4 demo account until you become consistent and confident enough to go online.
It is recommended to use London Forex Rush to trade 6 currency pairs, including the British Pound currency pair. Use it with the GBPUSD, GBPJPY, GBPCAD, GBPAUD, GBPCHF and GBPNZD currency pairs for best results. From my own experience, it's easy to use in the M15 but works fine in any time frame below the H4.
London Breakout Indicator Strategy
The signals of the London Forex Rush MT4 Forex indicator are easy to interpret and are as follows:
- Open your charts slightly before the London market opens at 3:00 AM ET. Make sure the six GBP crosses ( GBPUSD, GBPJPY, GBPCAD, GBPAUD, GBPCHF and GBPNZD ) are set to the H1 timeframe and everything works fine.
- Edit Tokyo start/end and London start times based on your broker's time
- The indicator will become active at 3:01 a.m. ET, when London markets open. It will call one of three scenarios: "Long Trade" opportunity, "Short Trade" opportunity, or "No Trade". It also indicates the entry point, stop loss, profit target and lot level if there is a trading opportunity.
- Before placing a trade, check the market trend indicator to verify whether the chart is trending up (green), down (red), or not trending at all (gray).
- If the indicator calls a trading opportunity, we will take the trade only if two conditions are met,
- If the breakout occurs before the countdown ends
- If the breakout occurs in the direction of the market trend indicator. If both conditions are not met, the signal given by the London Forex Peak Indicator will be passed on.
- Finally, if we do enter a trade, we will exit once the stop loss or profit target level is reached. Again, I recommend using aggressive stops and conservative profit targets, but the choice is up to you.
