Position risk calculation tool - MetaTrader 5 script | Trading script download - MT4/MT5 resources
This is a tool that calculates the risk of a position based on lot size and stop loss level.
Click on the chart to set a virtual stop and it will calculate the risk percentage and the monetary risk figure for that stop along with the entered lot size.
Regardless of whether you intend to calculate risk based on the ask price (for a buy position) or the bid price (for a sell position), select Buy or Sell in the input section.
Obviously - long stop loss distances on higher timeframes are riskier because price scales by larger pips on higher timeframes.
It should apply to all types of securities.
