Advisor Strategy:

The trading strategy of Forex Tramp Advisor belongs to the category of so-called segmentation strategies, which generate a signal to enter the market when the price crosses the border of the trading range in the direction of the price movement. Generally speaking, breakout trading is one of the most popular and commonly used forex trading strategies. Unfortunately, such classic strategies have a long history of development and once showed enviable results in real Forex trading, but have not joined the fashion market. Therefore, we must make significant modifications and additions to the current segmentation strategy to obtain an algorithm suitable for successful trading in fully automated mode.

The main issues that arise during the transaction are:

1. How to determine the price range?
2. What to do about the inevitable false failures?

To determine the price range in Forex Wandering Advisor we use a numerical filter. A feature of this method is that the advisor does not use Meta Trader terminal quotes on any time frame. Advisors filter prices directly from brokers in the form of quotes. Therefore, trading results do not depend on which time frame the advisor is attached to.

At the borders of the calculated trading range, the EA places pending orders at the upper border of Buy Stop and at the lower border of Sell Stop. All trading orders placed by the Advisor have stop loss and take profit levels. There can only be one trading order in the market at all times. If a false breakout occurs, the order will be closed at the stop loss, resulting in a loss. To compensate for this loss, the EA increases the number of subsequent orders, i.e. using martingale. Unlike many trading systems that use martingale, in our strategy to increase order size we do not rely on luck. We know that sooner or later the price will break out of the range, in our strategy it does not matter to us how the price breaks out of the range. If any failure occurs, one of the pending orders will work and end with Take Profit,

To use the EA on different currency pairs, you should use various settings optimized specifically for this tool.
The advisor provides recommended settings for multiple currency pairs.
For other couples, you can design your own setup.

• SETname : Specify a name for a set of settings. For example, if you set SETname = My Dream Set, "My Dream Set" will appear in the advisor information panel. So you can immediately see what tinctures to use this Advisor's Copy with.
• Flag_Stop (TRUE / FALSE): If this flag is, the EA will not open alternative orders after closing the current order. Used to block advisors.
• Filter : Numeric filter step used to determine value ranges
• SL fact : stop loss order expressed in filter units
• Take Profit_Martin : Adjusts the profit increase on each subsequent order when using martingale
• Indent : Pending orders are indented from the range boundary
• LotSize : base lot value
• Auto MM (True/False): When Auto MM is enabled, the base lot size of the lot pyramid will be recalculated based on the account balance and the Auto MM equity parameter set. Therefore, when the balance is 20,000 and the automatic MM equity = 10,000, the basic lot size of the pyramid will be automatically doubled. If every 1/10 Auto MM equity is traded, the account balance will increase and the basic lot size will increase accordingly.
• Auto MM Equity : Automatic MM parameters.
• Magic : Magic (a unique number used by advisors to identify their orders).
• Verbose (TRUE / FALSE): Enable progress report logging.
