The indicator strategy tester option has a frustrating limitation in that it can only perform a visual backtest simulation of one indicator.
The solution is to build a system for loading indicators and use the EA strategy tester option with visual mode selected.
The system allows you to test up to four indicators simultaneously, with the focus on seeing how one indicator weighs against another indicator in the strategy and visually understanding how the strategy performs.
Four indicators native to the software are used as default inputs, and the software automatically understands these paths. You can test your own custom metrics or use custom paths.
