Last Structural Breakout (Single Phase) – Explore the Last Structural Breakout (LSB) Trading Concept

This indicator is my personal pursuit to explore and validate Last Structural Breakout (LSB) trading ideas through structured price action analysis.

It works independently of the daily time range (PERIOD_D1), instead using logical day separation and separator-based detection to identify new trading days.

This approach makes structural analysis consistent across different timeframes and brokers, avoiding reliance on daily chart data.

The indicator scans for meaningful support and resistance pivots using configurable structural patterns (wick-based or body-based detection). It identifies the last valid structural levels of the trading day that held until the close of trading and projects them as trend lines into the new trading day.

To ensure the relevance of the analysis, only the levels adhered to during the remainder of the day were considered valid and plotted. This provides a clearer understanding of market structure and helps highlight price action behavior more effectively.

Key features include:

Logical day detection that does not depend on PERIOD_D1

Automatically recognize new day using chart separators and datetime normalization

Structural verification using pivot strength (left/right bar analysis)

Support and resistance detection across multiple structural modes

Final structural fracture verification from LSB experiments

Trendline visualization of effective structure levels extended to new sessions

Minimal recalculation for improved efficiency and real-time performance

This project is an experimental framework for studying market structural dynamics and evaluating their potential role in trading strategies. By analyzing the LSB concept using the Independence Day model, my goal is to determine whether the structural endpoints of the session have predictive or strategic value for subsequent price movements.
