ExMachina Supply and Demand Areas is a professional indicator that automatically detects supply and demand areas on any chart using pulse-based detection and ATR filtering. Version 2.0 introduces multi-candle pulse detection, omni-directional measurement, zone merging, touch tracking, proximity alerts, and ExMachina dark theme to transform your charts into a professional trading workspace.

The indicator scans the last 1000 bars looking for significant price impulses - sharp directional moves leaving institutional order blocks. When a pulse is detected, the indicator marks the previous underlying candle as a supply or demand area. Each zone is rated by strength, freshness is tracked, and price exposure and proximity are monitored.

The core algorithm measures pulse movements over a configurable multi-candle window (default 3 bars). This indicator does not require a single large candle, but adds the total range (high - low) or net change (close - open) of 2-3 consecutive bars and compares it to the ATR. A combined move of 1.0x ATR or more on three bars is consistent with impulse — this captures the progressive institutional push that single candle detection misses entirely.

When two or more areas of the same type form at similar price levels, they automatically merge into one stronger area. This eliminates the visual clutter of stacked rectangles at key levels and presents a clean, high-confidence area.

Each zone displays a label with four data points: type (demand or supply), freshness status (● for fresh, [T] for testing), strength score (pulse size relative to ATR), and a touch count showing the number of times the price tested the zone without breaking out of it. Fresh zones with high-intensity scoring and multiple touches are the settings with the highest probability.

The dashboard panel in the upper left corner shows the total number of zones, demand and supply breakdown, number of fresh zones, average intensity across all zones, and the nearest fresh zone and its distance in points. When price approaches a certain area, the distance value turns yellow as a visual warning.

This indicator provides two types of alerts. Zone touch alerts fire when the current candle enters a new zone. Proximity alerts trigger when price approaches a configurable distance (default 50 pips) from the fresh zone, giving you an advance warning before price reaches that level. Both alert types support pop-up notifications, sound notifications, and push notifications.

When enabled (default), the indicator applies the ExMachina dark theme to the entire chart: ultra-dark background, cyan bullish candles, red bearish candles, minimal grid, and professional color palette to make supply and demand areas visually clear without overpowering price action.

For Forex (EURUSD, GBPUSD): The default settings work well. If there are fewer than 5 regions on H1, reduce the minimum pulse to 0.8.

For Gold (XAUUSD): Gold has larger candles relative to ATR. You may need to increase the "Min Pulse" to 1.2-1.5 to filter out the noise.

For indices (NAS100, US30): keep the multi-candle window at 3 and use range mode. Exponential pulses are usually spread over multiple bars.
