ACD indicator download for MetaTrader 5 - Free - [TF Lab] - MT4/MT5 resources
The ACD indicator is a technical analysis tool in MetaTrader 5 developed by Mark Fisher that can also be used as a trading strategy . This tool is ideal for detecting daily price trends.
The way the indicator works is by defining the opening range on the 1-hour timeframe before the opening of the major markets (Tokyo, London, New York) and then displaying the levels (A Up - A Down) and (C Up - C Down) on the chart.
Traders can make trading decisions based on price breaking out of (A Up) and (A Down) levels.

In the image below, the price chart of the AUDUSD currency pair is shown on a 5-minute time frame. On August 6, during London time, as the A line broke below and stabilized below it for 7 minutes, the sell signal signaled the beginning of a bearish trend.
Furthermore, during the New York session on the same day, the price broke above the (A Up) level and stabilized for 7 minutes, indicating the beginning of a bullish trend and entering a buy trade.

Overview
The ACD indicator is calculated based on the range area before the opening of the main markets (Asia - Europe - America) and predicts the possible trend for each trading day ( A up - A down ) based on the breakout of the levels obtained.
The importance of these areas lies in their hidden MetaTrader5 supply and demand indicator levels. This trading system is ideal for volatile trading instruments, where liquidity and trading volume increase as different markets open.
Bullish signal conditions for the indicator (bullish settings)
The image below shows the Dow Jones (US30) price chart on the 5-minute time frame. The (A Up) line has been strongly broken and stabilized there for 7 minutes. This stability prevents traders from falling into the trap of false breakouts. You can then enter a buy trade.
ACD Indicator Take Profit and Stop Loss for Buy Transactions
After entering the trade, the stop loss can be set below the (A down) line, and the Reward-risk ratio of this strategy is 1, which can be used to set a take profit.

Bearish signal conditions for the indicator (Bearish settings)
The global silver (XAGUSD) price chart on the 5-minute time frame is shown in the image below. The (A down) line has been strongly broken and stabilized below it for 7 minutes. This stability prevents traders from falling into the trap of Fake Breakouts . One can then enter a sell trade.
ACD Indicator Take Profit and Stop Loss for Sell Trades
After entering the trade, you can set your stop loss below the (A Down) line. This strategy has a reward-to-risk ratio of 1 and can be used to set your take profit.
