You first need to gather some key information to set up MT4 to Notion Data Transfer Expert. These pieces of information act as keys allowing access to MetaTrader 4 and Notion. The required details are:

• Web Request: Enable network requests
• Your parent page ID: The "Parent" page ID in Notion
• Your Notion Token: Your unique Notion token

Enable "WebRequest" in MetaTrader 4

1. First, create a Notion account;
2. Create a new workspace in Notion;
3. Open the relevant page and copy the parent page ID at the end of the URL.

Get your Notion unique token

To activate the connection between MetaTrader 4 and Notion, you must retrieve and save your unique account token from the integration section of Notion.

Steps:

1. Click the three-dot icon (top right corner of the page) to open the page settings menu;
2. From the menu that opens, select the "Connect" option;
3. In the new window, go to the "Manage connections" section.

Create integration

Steps:

1. Enter the name of the integration (Integration Name);
2. Choose your desired workspace;
3. Set type to "internal";
4. After filling in the information, click the "Save" button to create a new integration.

Copy unique identifier

At this stage, Notion's unique token is generated and you can copy it. Note that the specified options must be enabled.
