Versions 01a and 01b have conditional MathAbs(BiggestLoserPL) >= 0.5 * BiggestWinnerPL filters out reversals that occur shortly after the phantom reset, which quickly group the two phantom pairs to opposite sides in a strong move.
Version 01b resets virtual transactions every day at 0 hours and 0 minutes.
Read this article http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...69#post6947369 to see the additional reversal conditions in version 01a.
These are the currency pairs we trade:
Group 1, buyers
1. GBP/USD
2. USD/CHF
3. Euro Japanese Yen
Group 2, Sales
4.GBPCHF
5. Swiss franc Japanese yen
6.EUR CHF
These 6 pairs constitute a comprehensive hedge.
The lot size is not the same for every currency pair. They are designed to provide a good hedge. Hedging is not perfect because poor lot size does not allow for perfect hedging, only good hedging.
---
summary:
Open real and virtual trading initially and unconditionally; reverse the largest losing trade when the phantom becomes all winners or all losers in its designated group.
When the current net value exceeds 1% of the last fixed net value, all are closed.
---
More details:
Initially, the currency pair of the designated buy group is bought and the currency pair of the designated sell group is sold. In addition, open virtual trades are in the same direction as real trades. Track virtual P&L on virtual trades.
When dummy trades are grouped together, the largest losing trade is reversed so that all dummy buys are winners or all losers, and the same goes for dummy sells. Immediately reset the phantom trade after reversing the Biggest Loser.
___
I use a bicycle as a metaphor for this system.
What does cycling include?
balance . What does the balance of this trading approach include? It consists of two sets of opening trades, each with three pairs; three buys and three sells. The directions of all currencies are perfectly balanced, and the lot sizes are as balanced as the available lot accuracy allows.
Pedal forward . What does pedaling mean in terms of trading behavior? Putting the pedal to the metal means closing the biggest loser, as long as it's at least half the size of the biggest winner, and trading the same currency pair in the opposite direction of the trade you just closed.
When do I pedal? Of course, when it feels natural to do so . How does this translate into the market? My theory is that when dummy trades ("fake trades") are placed against each other on either side of a hedge, it is "natural" to put the pedal to the metal.
There are only two alignment states. They are:
Alignment status first
Group 1, Phantom Purchase
1. GBPUSD - Win
2. USD/CHF - Win
3. EURJPY - Win
Group 2, Phantom Sales
4. GBPCHF - failed
5. CHFJPY - Loss
6. EURCHF - Loss
Alignment status No. 2
Group 1, Phantom Purchase
1. GBP/USD - Loss
2. USD/CHF - Loss
3. EURJPY - Loss
Group 2, Phantom Sales
4. GBPCHF - Winning
5. CHFJPY - Winning
6. EUR CHF – Win
