Trend Smasher - Profitable Mechanical Long Position Trading (Trend Smasher - Profitable Mechanical Lo)

I've been developing this system for the past eight months and have been actively using it for over six months with great success. It capitalizes on the long-term trends that many currency pairs have experienced over the years, and has weathered large corrections well, as the recent stormy weather in and around the subprime period has shown; this was the first major drawdown I've experienced, and after some tweaking, I feel like it's finally ready for a public release.

Hope this is useful to some of you - I've been asked about this system on and off for a few months. I know how scarce long-term systems seem to be because everyone is more concerned with intraday moves. I think everyone has their own opinion, but in my opinion larger time frames are more consistent and easier to learn for amateurs.

I will try to fully flesh out this system in the first few articles. Please don't post here until I've finished - it will be obvious
