TD Trendline System | Foreign Exchange EA Download- MT4/MT5 Resources
This is a system I've been playing with for the last few days and it looks great.
It uses Tom DeMark's TD line.
Below are the USD/CHF exchange rates. Although I haven't tested it, all majors look similar on the chart.
During the last tradable period, it had:
20 W @ 20 points each
3 L @ 30 points each
1 L @ 11 o'clock
1 L @ 14 o'clock
The risk per trade is 2%, which will grow the account by 20%. If you take into account the impact of compound interest, this number will be even higher.
This was between October 25, 2007 and February 12, 2007
This is a very popular period.
I go back and try to identify the ugliest periods.
I settled in July and August 2006.
A total of 4 points were lost during this period.
This will cost your account 1.5%
Inspired by JohnW's method, which can be found in this article:

I didn't use anything he was using, there was a lot of discretion in John's approach. I tried to make this 100% mechanical. Because of this, I'm convinced that John's approach has more potential than this one.
1. Identify daily trends
Draw the 48 SMA and 18 SMA on the daily chart.
Uptrend = 18 is above 48 and both are sloping upward.
Downtrend = 18 is below 48 and both are sloping downward.
If the daily chart showed an uptrend yesterday, we would only enter a long trade today.
If the daily chart showed a downtrend yesterday, we would only enter a short trade today.
All entries are made on the 30M chart.

Only 30M charts are used.
Trading hours are only available from 0800 to 1700 UK time.
long
Enter a long position on the 2-point breakout of the downward sloping TD (Level 1) trendline. This interruption must occur during our trading hours.
Tp 20
SL 30
Let the trade continue until the take profit or stop loss price is reached. On Friday, close all open trades at the close.
short
Short the 2-point breakout of the upward sloping TD (Level 1) trendline. This interruption must occur during our trading hours.
Tp 20
SL 30
Let the trade continue until the take profit or stop loss price is reached. On Friday, close all open trades at the close.
I'll post some examples and then I'll have to go. I just learned that there is a disease in my family.
If you know anything about TD lines, then I think I've explained everything you need to know.
If you don't know how to draw them, you can find instructions on the Internet. Maybe someone can explain it while I'm gone. I'll try to answer questions when I get back.
I believe this approach can be improved, especially the determination of daily trends.
