Quest 100 System | Foreign exchange indicator download-MT4/MT5 resources
This topic will continue to work towards achieving 100 pips per day (500 pips/week) by developing automated EAs. Different EAs will use different techniques, indicators and methods. Some metrics may be added, others removed - all to help us get closer to our goals.
Goal: 100 points per day (500/week)
Basic capital: $5000
Limitations: No more than $5,000 spent in any one month within the past 12 months. The $5,000 account balance must not fall below $4,000 in any given test month. Handles multiple pairs reliably.
This first article will be used to provide important information such as direct links to the current version of EA and other important "quick reference" information.
trading strategy
Danger Zone: Within the 2 dashed red lines (+20/-20 levels of 89SMA) next to the blue line (89SMA) - A lot of whipsaw can happen here as the market consolidates and tries to figure out a way forward.
Recommendation: Do not trade in dangerous areas.
Middle of the River: Located between the red dashed line (+20/-20 levels of 89SMA) and the outer banks of the river (+89/-89 levels of 89SMA).
Recommendation: Although anything can happen, usually the trend has already started to be established. Once you find a trend that is stable, you can enter trades and exit near/beyond the bank where it flows.
Beyond the Bank: Beyond the 2 brown lines (+89/-89 levels of 89SMA).
Recommendation: I would not trade outside these levels but wait until the river returns to its banks and crosses both +/-89 and 13EMA. Once it reaches the other side, the trend continues fairly steadily.
Exception: If through other indicators, tools or trading expertise you determine that the trend has changed, you can trade outside the bank and get some extra ideas.
