Old Dog Fib Trading - EA Development (Old Dog Fib Trading - EA Development)
This post aims to develop an EA to trade Old Dog Fib Trading and related methods as described here.
Today's chart picture is below. This indicator is only available with FXPro due to some calculation work. I know there are some tricks we can do to make it work with other brokers.
At the New York close, daily pivot points, sentiment values, and two breakout buy and two breakout sell trades are calculated.
I also included a little lie at the end. It is based on 1/2 the 44-day ATR and provides another breakout type trade to evaluate.
The EA should trade as follows:
Trade each breakout zone with the option to trade on emotion alone Stops set as a percentage of equity or a fixed amount There is an option to trade the target of the first breakout as a price target for the second breakout - maybe trade a second hand for this...so it's two trades at the same time - same stop loss but different exit strategy.
Move the stop loss to point X at BE and lock at point Y.
If we can make this one trade work, maybe we can add another one based on Little Lies. This can be followed.

Thanks to all coders who may have taken on this task. Considering all the groundbreaking EAs that are emerging, this EA doesn't seem to be particularly complex.
