The Dance Continues | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
This thread is dedicated to the original concept of the Clay Trading "Dance" strategy, and the reason for starting this thread is very clear - it is against the rules to abuse additional indicators and strategies implemented on the original concept.
What is against the rules. . It's against the rules. . No matter who you are and what you have accomplished using this strategy.
We need to enforce the rules of the dance on ourselves and others who have traded using this method so far, especially on this thread. I don't care if I happen to be the only person posting in this thread for the next few years.
I promise to follow the rules and use the original tools of "Dance" to your advantage.

Rules for this topic (Clay)
- Grow up! This should be a safe place for people to grow and learn. Learn to act like an adult, do some of the work yourself, and read the damn manual first! Then follow the thread rules and ask questions.
- Stick to this policy or you become history and go on the ignore list so you can't post again and waste other people's time.
- Be kind! If you start attacking other people, or your strategies, you will become history and go on the ignore list so you can no longer post and waste other people's time.
- There is no vulgarity, it means nothing, it adds nothing, only the weak need it to express themselves forcefully. Use this and you become history and go on the ignore list so you can't post again and waste other people's time.
- No argument period. Disagreement and civil discussion are wonderful, get angry and you are history and put on the ignore list so you can no longer post and waste other people's time.
- All posts must contain an image of the entry point (no more than a few bars) when the shot was taken and the exit point when the shot was taken. It's about "seeing it firsthand" rather than trading on history. Practice the screen capture process before publishing to make sure you know how to do it. If you violate this rule multiple times, you will eventually be placed on the ignore list. In the next "Rule" I've provided you with links to some excellent screen capture software, and I've even included a free screen capture software with tools in the Zip file below.
- All images must be in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png format, and their size must not be confused with the page width, making it difficult for others to read and use the thread. There are some very good free software available online, such as Faststone Capture (www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm) , Snapshot (nicekit.com/screen-capture/best-free-snapshot.htm) , Super Snapshot (www.hyperionics.com/) , and many others, just search (http://www.google.com/search?q=free+...capture+softwa re&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1) . Then learn to publish pictures to FF. You get a chance or two before going to the ignore list so you can't post again and waste other people's time.
- Read the manual and do some work yourself. It's all done for you, even how to practice the strategy. If you ask too many questions that have already been answered, you may be put on the ignore list.
- There is no talk about any EAs, no other EAs except maybe ones that trail their stops "according to the rules", otherwise you will be on the ignore list.
- No oscillators of any kind! They often waste valuable screen real estate and are in most cases useless, adding complexity, distraction, and adding no real value. I've downloaded nearly 2000 of them and I've used and tried hundreds more. Most are useless.
- There are no small fibers, no trend lines, no pitchforks, no Gartleys, Wolf Waves, Gann Lines or anything else that would only confuse those trying to learn the strategy. There is no talk about long-term support and resistance levels (we only use support and resistance levels from the past few days, as explained in the manual), no talk about "traditional" chart patterns such as head and shoulders, triangles, pennants, etc., etc. ad nauseam. Yes, they do work, but they only confuse those trying to learn this strategy. If you post too many times, you may be placed on the ignore list and unable to post.
- psychology! Don't waste anyone's time arguing about it. The idea behind this strategy is that fear is the only enemy and even greed can be a good thing if you learn to manage it correctly. Learning to persevere and believe in yourself and the skills you work hard to develop are at the heart of this strategy. There are many books on this subject. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill (included in the Tools Zip file), The World's Greatest Salesman (http://www.amazon.com/Greatest-Sales.../dp/055327757X) Og Mandino's work is great and only costs about $7 on Amazon. This book started my life on a very, very good path. I firmly believe that "What you can hold in your heart, you can hold in your hands!" Benjamin Franklin once said: "If a man empties his wallet into his head, his wallet will never be empty." The only people who are defeated are those who give up. If you don't believe in it first, you'll never have it. Next comes patience and discipline. Read its manual. Naff talked about psychology.
- This is a 15-minute strategy that can be used on several other time frames as well. For the sake of continuity, try to stick to the 15-minute version. If you talk too much about another timeframe version of this issue, please take it to another thread so you don't confuse people on this issue. Too many violations and you'll receive a warning and then be placed on the ignore list. Be kind to those with less experience and don't let them get confused. Trading is difficult enough without any help.
- I only comment on posted pictures or post my own after the trade is closed for the day.
- I won't hesitate to ask for a cleanup of posts that obscure the purpose of this thread or are made by people who end up on the ignore list.
- Finally, grow a pair and take responsibility for your trades! The market and brokers (yes, I spelled that the way I meant it) don't even care about you and your account. Some brokers do look for stops, but they must look for all stops, not just yours, otherwise it will be easy to prove they are committing fraud. No need to complain! If you're stopped out, you're not taken advantage of, and you make a trading decision about where to put your stop, until you grow a pair and start owning up to your responsibilities, you're not going to be successful. If you start complaining, you'll be put on the ignore list so you can't post again and waste other people's time.
I hate being so harsh on rules, but I've seen too many good leads ruined by the pettiness of mental dwarfs who think they have the right to throw vomit at other people, or who think they have the only valid solution to a Forex puzzle when in fact there are hundreds of good solutions. This is just one of them, but perhaps the simpler one that you actually "see" when trading live.
I have no personal "axe" to grind, I wish nothing but great success for anyone, but I have no patience or tolerance for bullies, educated idiots or arrogant fools, trolls and cavemen. Get over it and grow!
God bless and I wish you all good trading
