Fibonacci-Woodies Strategy - MT4/MT5 Resources
Fibonacci Woody Scalping Trading Strategy
I have always believed that coming to the crossroads of life, making a choice, embarking on a true path, sacrificing everything in exchange for a new beginning is a good example of passion, hard work and destiny. I've always known what's right and what's wrong, but I've never accepted it, until now. Do you know why? Because it's very difficult. Today I decided to write about my strategy because I need to share this topic with you. If you are going to choose to become a professional trader and make a living from it, then you must understand what this lifestyle involves: sacrifice, passion, hard work, perseverance, routine, and last but not least, long-term personal learning. Even if you have passed all these exams, there is no guarantee that you will succeed. I don’t have a secret to success, no one does. But I can tell you that if you have enough patience and perseverance, you will eventually make a profit. Making money consistently is your ultimate goal. Any trading strategy is a "hope" built by its creator who believes he can pass it on to you. Sometimes, trusting a model will keep you one step ahead in the battle, and your mental spirit is happy to see that happen. But don't get confused or overconfident about something, even if it's been heavily backtested. Any trading strategy is a bunch of indicators put together that give a good indication of what's going on in the market. What will happen is a blank page, no one knows, we just assume and make predictions. In fact, you have the ability to understand the market and read it like a book, understanding how currencies move and how they interact with each other. Choose a few pairs of shoes that suit you better and start getting to know them. Soon you'll be surprised at the progress you've made.
As we all know, patience plays an important role in trading and developing a trading strategy is part of your success. Stick to the trading strategy applied to Forex charts and don't get discouraged if you are wrong. If you see a deal and pull the trigger, your subconscious knows you did the right thing. If you don't, then your emotions will overwhelm you and your gut will tell you to enter the market at the wrong time, hoping to get out before you wish to enter the market. So, this is what I have for you:
Trading currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, USD/JPY and USD/CHF (cross divergence reference for EUR/USD trend).
In order for this method to be successful, you must follow the rules and trade when the indicators give you signals. You'll probably succeed eight or nine times out of ten, at least on short-term trades. Depending on your daily goals, I think 30-50 points is an achievable goal. Don't expect to make a profit every day. Even if you are a professional, this won't happen. Those two times when your deal goes bad can damage your morals. Don't let this happen. Do what you can to manage your emotions. Don't overtrade and hope to participate in every move in the market. In most cases, 1-2 trades per day is enough to achieve your goals. Don’t give back anything you create out of overconfidence. Stay focused and calm because tomorrow is another day of hundreds of trades waiting for you.
This thread can be used well for scalping 5M/15M/30M/1H. This method is only available for Meta-Trader 4 users. You can download the latest version of MT4 from one of the many existing brokers on the market.
All the indicators I use you can download from the meta editor, indicators, or this page. Here's how I rename and set them on the chart:
1) Floating point meters
2) Brain Trend 1Sig
3) FiboPiv_v2
4) Band
5) EMA 8
6) SMA 200
7) Fib Tool (Fibonacci retracement setting tool)
10) Random histogram
11) Laguerre-ACS1
Please follow the attached document for complete details of all indicators.
Hope that helps,
See you on the other side
Mike Canard
