I trade using pivot points all the time. My system is so simple that even inexperienced people can use it. If the price closes above the pivot point ((High+Low+Close)/3), I simply place a buy order, and if the price closes below the pivot point, I simply place a sell order. I do this on daily pivots, every 4 hours and even hourly pivots. My goal is only 5 points. There is no stop loss, I have never had to do that, at least so far. Believe me, I've always done well this way, it's just that it's very time consuming, especially if you have to do it every hour and use many pairs to spread the risk. I have no programming knowledge to write an EA for this simple strategy, and I'm too old to start learning.
