30M Day-Trading Method | Foreign exchange indicator download - MT4/MT5 resources
Hello,
Let me start by saying that I have been a long time Forex Factory junkie - always looking for new stuff that works. Time and time again, I would end up in stupid situations, not knowing why it didn't work, always feeling bitterly disappointed and defeated at having lost more money than I could afford.
I learned that all the flashy metrics and such are a waste of time. Once I got over that and focused more on price action, I was fine.
I don’t think I could have achieved such great results without Efflilang and Flamenco143, these two people have never stopped inspiring me and I am grateful for that. If you stay here long enough, you'll know both of them.
I've attached a picture of what I did - other than that I don't have any hard and specific rules, just go with the trend and try to stick to just two time frames and don't jump around or you'll lose yourself like I did many times.
The pictures should be self-explanatory. The arrows are entry points and the blue and red triangles are the highs and lows that are taken over, thus looking for trades in new directions or existing directions. I use Stoch to watch for divergences and provide early warning of trend changes.
The stop loss will usually be held at the high of the most recent high, or the low of the most recent low, or if the major pivot is a little further than that point, it's actually pretty basic, I've given up on staring at the screen for hours on end, I usually check in every few hours and adjust the stop to the next nearest support/resistance, which is the last low or high.
This can also be used on higher time frames. I won’t say which one specifically, you can figure it out for yourself.
Well...this place has helped me a lot, so I thought I'd give something back.
Wish you all the best, and for those who are beginners, don't give up easily, it will eventually come to you, just like it happened to me. Have confidence in yourself.

In addition to this, I would like to attach a document on peaks and valleys, it is a good read.
Plus...it's worth every penny and I highly recommend it to any trader whether they have been doing it for a long time or are just starting out.
