The Pouria EA Development Thread
Hello everyone,
Before continuing, if you don't know what Pouria is, please click on this link: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=17011
Below is Pouria EA Beta. It has not been tested on the actual market and has not been optimized. The purpose of this thread is to find any bugs in the program and find the best settings for the EA.
Okay, first let me explain how the EA works, because I programmed it based on my interpretation of the Pouria method, which you may not agree with.
The EA pays equal attention to signals generated by MACD and MA. For example, MACD crosses below zero and then moves up, MA also gives an upward signal, it will take a buy position, same as MA, when MA crosses and MACD points in the same direction, it will take a buy trade. Therefore, as long as both indicators are aligned, a trade will be taken when one of them crosses the signal line. (I've attached a chart image below to better illustrate this)
So here are the external variables:
---------- Pouria EA beta version
Magic Number = Set the Magic Number to any lucky number you want
Stop Loss = Set initial stop loss level
Take Profit = Set target price
Breakeven after points = Move stop loss to breakeven after reaching this number (in points), set to zero to disable
Entry Confirmation = If set to true the EA will open trades after the close of the candle; if false the EA will open trades as soon as there is a signal
---------- Order settings
Number of attempts = number of attempts the EA will try to open a trade, leave the default value
Slippage = Set the slippage value according to your broker
---------- Fund Management
Lot = the number of lots you want to trade. If MM is false, the EA will use this value
MM = whether to use money management
Micro account = whether to use micro account
Risk = available margin per trade as a percentage of risk, MM must be set to true
---------- Alarm settings
Enable Alerts = Set to true if you want to be alerted every time the EA trades
That's it, please try the EA and find the best settings for each pair and post them here. It's your job because I'm lazy at optimization. When we find the optimal settings, we can integrate these values into the code so that everyone (including newbies) can profit from this EA.
That's it! enjoy!
Mikhail
