Very Simple Moving Average - MT4/MT5 Resources
Hi,
Have you ever looked at a chart and seen how price was going to cross a moving average and next thing you know you could be capturing 30 pips, 65 pips, 100 pips.
For example, if you look at GBP/JPY on the daily chart with the 60 EMA, you can see how the price keeps crossing the 60 EMA.
Here are my thoughts, most likely not new, but oh well:
When the price crosses the 60 EMA, you buy/sell. That's it
The problem is, it could break above the 60 EMA at 2am during the night and you would miss it because you were dreaming about that perfect trade.
So we need the system to be purely mechanical so you can set it up and wait for the results.
Can anyone help make a very simple EA that will buy/sell when the price crosses the 60 EMA. If things go against us, set a stop loss. Maybe add the option to use a trailing stop. There is also a take profit.
No, I didn't backtest or forward test this, but just looking at the chart I know it's powerful enough to earn a lot of pips.
