Eagle Method MA Crossover System
Hi guys.
I have been trading for a long time, mostly news. But I've been working on an extremely simple yet powerful trading system, based on crossovers, and it goes like this...
for any..but I use GBP/JPY
time range
30 minutes-1 hour

9 SMA closes at 100 SMA
RVI = 100 (Relative Vitality Index) is the same as the Sidus indicator. (This indicator is not required, I mainly use it to measure momentum)
method
Go Long - Buy when the 9 line crosses above the 100 SMA It helps if the RVI is above 0
(quit)
Close the position and reverse when the 9 moving average crosses back, or close the position when the price crosses back through the 9 moving average by 20 pips.
Money management.
I found a great Excel file that will calculate MM for you. I'll post it today or tomorrow along with a system diagram.
Sidebar Often you may go through periods where the price moves 1 or 2 times in a row, but 80-90% of the time you will find a great move when 9 crosses 100. I only trade GBP/JPY within 1 hour (1 to 2 trades per week)
Let's run this system together and see how it goes. I've noticed that sometimes you can miss some points while waiting for it to cross back. So maybe we can implement a trailing stop. Maybe we can take a look at EA.
Plus, there are no tiny fibers or pivots. Not required for this method.
