DeMark TDF Trading | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
Hello everyone,
Some of you may already know me from my "DeMark TDST Trading Thread" and after a few weeks of illustrations, I felt it was time to move on and add another aspect of DeMark trading to the arsenal. Thanks to everyone who participated in the previous posts, although I will only be posting on this thread from now on, I will still use the TDST trading method when it suits the setup. The DeMark TDF trade is a combination of the TD setup pattern and my own thrust method. I'm not saying I'm the only one who thought of trading this way, but when I started this post I named it TDF, where the "F" stands for my last name Fogarty, for illustration purposes, and who knows, if it works out, maybe I'll get my name in a book, but that's not my intention with this post.
I'm a firm believer in looking at the big picture and then zooming in, which is how I wanted to structure this thread. I will do daily analysis and try to pick the best opportunities and post updates as setups come up and trades are entered. I think that should cover it all, so before I bore you, I'll move on to the TDF approach.
TF: The time range of directional deviation is longer, and the time range of signal and entry is shorter.
Signal: TD setting followed by thrust lever
How to register: The first push rod is closed, and entry can be staggered if the risk is too high. If the first entry stops quickly, take the next thrust bar, maximum two entries per signal
Stop Loss: Use the "Show Data" function in the TD count file to place a stop loss using the pusher
Risk: 1% recommended per entry, maximum 2% per signal
Goal: View post number 87 details
Trade Management: Risk can be spread by using lower time frames after the push bar closes or by entering at better levels when the risk suits
I've added illustrations of buying and selling TDF setups, these should be clear, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. You don't need to use my long-term analysis to trade with this method, but I recommend that you understand the big picture before entering a trade. I haven't traded this method myself yet, but will be trading live, so wish me luck.
