Kraven's 5minPA | Foreign Exchange EA Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
I wanted to share a 5 minute strategy on this board because I learned a lot from it. I've been using this and it works great
I call this the "Unlucky Man Strategy" because I'm the unluckiest rich person I know. I was heavily invested in Marconi a few weeks before it went bankrupt, I was betting on Amstrad before they made their disastrous email call, I was betting that something was going to go up...and it was going to go down. But I profited handsomely from this.
I'm not saying this is original, holy grail or anything, but if it's been done before, I haven't seen it. Okay, I'll try to keep it short and clear. This strategy is a simple PA strategy based on physiological data.
5 minute chart
Indi's: Power, signal bars, sweet spot
Any currency pair (although I only used GBP/USD and EUR/USD)
Sell: When the price moves down close to a round number... let's say 1.5100 (5100, 4200, 3700, etc...) Pay attention to the momentum indi (is it moving down, below 100) Pay attention to whether the signal bars are all red. If so, wait until the price is about 5 pips above 1.500, then enter a 4-lot sell with a stop loss of 25.
The first TG will be 1.475 (25 points), then we move the other 3 lots to BE SL, TG2 to 1.450 (50 points), SL to 1.475, TG3 to 1.425 (75 points) and SL to 1.450. Final TG is 1.400 (100+ points), or let it run, SL 1.425. So basically we are targeting 25 pips per lot and protecting profits by moving the stop loss 25 pips each time.
As opposed to buying, momentum is above 100 and rising (hopefully), and the signal bars are all green.
Ideally I'd like someone to create an EA that should be simple for a programming guru.
If there's any interest I'll post the indi/template tomorrow and answer any questions (if I can)
