Tick ​​Trading Systems for MetaTrader

I have been using tick trading for a while with great success, but unfortunately NinjaTrader now does not allow any free tick data access and I had to look for an alternative. I found a way to use MetaTrader as a live chart, just like I do with NinjaTrader.

I hope this post will bring the possibility of a tick trading system to the community. Please post any templates or markup you've used successfully.

First, I will share how to convert Metatrader charts into live charts.

1. Open any 1 minute nude picture.
2. Drag and drop the "logtickdata" indicator onto the chart
3. It is important to wait for the price movement to start recording at the bottom
4. Once the price movements have started to be recorded, place the indicator PostTickData into the window you created using the LogTickdata indicator.
5. When you delete the PostTickData metric, you need to change the number 5, otherwise the default is 5 ticks. (I like to use 133 tick charts)
6. Now go to the offline chart and you will find the tick chart you just created. Just double click on it to get a new chart. Now you can place almost any template on top of it and experiment from there.
