Mr. Blobby V3 (60m mechanical trading) (Mr. Blobby V3 (60m mechanical trading))
For those of you familiar with my subject "Mr. Bobby V2' I have started trading using a similar system on long term charts.
The link to Mr. Bobby v2 is below:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=248649
I will continue to test V2 scalping on the 1m and 5m charts, but I am now also trading the new version (V3) on the hourly chart and have added the 200 SMA as a filter. The reason is that I want to catch the big trends and be able to accomplish other things instead of sitting in front of a screen for 12 hours a day.
The currency pairs I trade are: GBPUSD, EURUSD, EURGBP, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCHF.
Even with 6 pairs, the action is still slow compared to the 1m charts I'm used to.
EURUSD last traded near 1000 pips
Mr Blobby V3 Rules:
Enter when Blobby (BBStop) reverses, assuming the 200SMA points in the direction of the trade.
Wait for candle close confirmation.
Stop loss: 60 pips
TP is reached when Blobby flips again (wait for the candle to close).
I've attached the template, indicators, and screenshots so you can get an idea of what it should look like.
index
BBStop
200SMA (thin blue line)
100EMA (thin red line) - this is not required, but I prefer to keep it pivoted (daily, weekly, monthly) - it's just my preference
RSI12 - Good for a pullback if I missed an entry because I was out or sleeping.
Today is not the best day to start trading as it is a bank holiday in the United States, Canada and Japan. I will post the results of every trade, good or bad.
Feedback welcome
EDIT: I added a new tpl file because the last one didn't show the weekly pivot
