Journey to Consistent Profits using my 3
Hello FF community,
I started this post not to show off a new system, but to check if I could stay consistent and grow a small account even though everyone was watching...
Some people think that if you show your trades to people it can ruin your performance, well yes that is true and it happened to me too.
But I think sharing your trades with others is not the reason why we fail to achieve consistency, the real reason is "wanting to be right all the time". So if we change our mindset and accept losing trades as part of the game and we always control/minimize our risk and only trade when a trading opportunity exists using our system, then we can expect great results in the long run...
Remember: Trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it is a slow but sure way to achieve financial freedom.
When you have an advantage in the market, all you have to do is become a sniper and take action!
In a nutshell, these are 3 systems:
1. Low-hanging fruit for crypto surfing on Pivot Trading
- Summary: We look for price opportunities over the weekend to take advantage of the market structure for late markups/markdowns. Prices were overextended that week, so we wanted to enter a countertrend trade, which is usually just a small pullback that we have to take advantage of. Price usually stalls in the 38 area the next week we enter the trade. We place the stop loss at the 61 area and the target at the PP area, or we can place the target at the 38 area, provided that once the price first touches the PP area, we move the stop loss to the entry point.
2. Consistent 30 SMA on 4H by Androsage2
- Summary: We are trading on the 4-hour only and looking for price to break above the 30 SMA on the 4-hour chart. At first glance this looks like a counter trend trade on the 4 hour chart, but if you switch to a higher TF it is actually a trend following trade where we are simply entering a continuation of the trend after a small pullback.
3. Simple trend following on the 4 hour chart.
- Summary: We use this strategy, very simple and profitable, because we try to follow the trend but with a higher TF. So my approach is to check weekly and daily direction and use 4H as an entry point...
By the way, the reason why I decided to have 3 systems is because our systems do not always meet the market conditions.
So, it is enough to look for 3 possibilities so that we have more chances.
Here are the indicators and templates:
