Type: Trend and Range Time Range: M1 - D1. In this example, we use the H1 chart.
entry:
- Time: Buy or sell each candle in the H1 chart (this means that every hour you open an order at the closing price of the previous candle).
- Buy: If the lower shadow of the previous candle is greater than the upper shadow.
- Sell: If the lower shadow of the previous candle is smaller than the upper shadow.
- Take Profit/Stop Loss: 50 pips

Statistics:
If statistics indicate that the shadow line determines direction, then this trading system should be profitable. I challenge readers of this article to test this theory.

1. ( Pointed out by Chamo ) Find out whether wicks and candles on different time frames for a specific symbol are relative. (For example (random number) in H1 the candle body ranges from 100 to 200 units and the shadow from 40 to 80 units. And in 15 minutes the candle body ranges from 25 to 50 units and the shadow ranges from 10 to 20 units. If this is true then the candle body is relative to the shadow and to run the EA on other timeframes just adjust the body/shadow limits.)
--Test Case : Select several different scenarios using symbols, for example: 10 steep uptrend events, 10 steep downtrend events, 20 range swing events, events with a large number of spikes...etc., then run the EA on each event and see if it passes.
