GBPJPY Range Bar Trading System (GBPJPY Range Bar Trading System)
ride the wave
Refers to taking out a portion of the intraday range using only the range bar

Using range bars and ADR 14
Call it trend following, counter-trend trading, breakout trading,
The important thing is, once you see the picture, you'll know it. You wouldn't guess it.
The range bar clearly shows the start and end of changes based on daily ADR,
I call it "taming the trend"
I trade a live account and try to get 40 pips every day from the daily ADR of 130 pips
Entry: In most range bar systems, I have noticed that many systems are based on 3 bar reversals. (Contrarian trading possible).
In this system we enter the 2ND bar with the direction of the trend (not the opposite). By the third bar we were already out
This means we wait for the first bar to complete and then enter the second bar. Is the way I entered correct? No, I wait for a callback at a few points...\
NOTE: Sometimes during periods of volatility, prices will rise without retracing.
Should I run first? Yes and no depends on how many moves are left.. If this is really the first bar of the day.. OMG yes I am ahead do I add to my position? ...It also depends on the situation. It's not usually possible to go full size and exit all at once.
Do I always capture 45 points? ? Not as easy as it sounds haha. I catch an average of 25 a day. But I'm still practicing. But this is due to the trader's ability to trade the system (that's me), but I will improve. Is this system as good as mine? Does the range bar strategy have potential? I am a trader and only trade intraday ranges. Traders become focused on current actions. Instead of trying to pick tops and bottoms. The market moves 100+ points every day. I guarantee you, tomorrow it will move another 100+ in some direction, every day.
I asked myself how much of today's ADR is due to market changes?
Does it follow the trend? Or is it in a callback?
I took trades when we had to do them over the phone. Charts are a luxury. So for me the scope does it.
Analysts can do a better job than others at predicting tops and bottoms
I will continue to update this. But I’m asking people to comment, share, and ask questions.
