Hammer - Candlestick EA Trading (Hammer - Candlestick Expert Advisor)
Hello FF,
Please test the provided EA carefully before applying it to a real account, it may contain some small errors that I am not aware of. Regardless, I am not responsible if any losses occur.
It's designed to trade bullish/bearish hammers, I've only tested it on the 1 hour timeframe so far, but basically all timeframes should work, after optimization this is what the bot came up with on a spread of 20 pipettes:
The winning rate is low, but the risk-reward for this set is about 1:2.67.
If you find some improvements please let me know for further development. Profitlock is a pip based invisible trailing stop, all other inputs are self declared, please check your broker for minimum steps, they may not like it.
Have fun, but remember, this is not a race to get rich, it's a walk to get rich.
EDIT: So what is the input?
Magic : is the only magic number for an order, if you have the EA running on different TFs for the same currency, make sure to set a different magic number.
Maximum Spread : If the spread is larger than this value, no order will be placed on the market.
Starting Lot: Lot size of the order.
SL : stop loss
TP : Take profit
Anti-trigger : If a sell trigger occurs, open buy orders will be closed and vice versa. This option overrides TP and SL settings.
Tail ST : Trailing Stop - 0 = disabled; any other value will activate the trailing stop based on the value entered opf pips
Start Time : The EA should trade from to Stop Time : Based on broker time.
Profit Lock On : This option is a point-based invisible stop - it only draws a red line for user information, but is invisible to the broker by design.
A value of 20 pips means that the EA will set an implicit stop loss, locking in a profit of 10 pips (if the buy price is 20 pips away from the breakeven point).
Profit Lock : true enables profit lock.
