Renko and fractals | Gold EA Download- MT4/MT5 Resources
Hi everyone, I would like to share this system that I am working on.
It is based on Renko chart with upper and lower fractals.
You can track trading Renko fractals through my browser. Don't pay attention to the history because I'm an expert in setting this up and I've made many mistakes before. Now I hope it works well.
Currently, to avoid higher correlations, currency pairs include: EUR/USD, EUR/JPY, AUD/USD and Gold (I am open to suggestions on this).
10 point block size.
Basically, I defined 2 pattern groups:
Group 1: These patterns are related to the bounce of the last fractal. The purpose of this pattern is to take advantage of support and resistance areas.
Pattern 1 = Closing Price[3]>Low Fractal&& Opening Price[2]>Low Fractal
&& close[1]<low fractal&& low fractal<previous low fractal
&& close[1]<open[1]
Pattern 2 = Closing price[2]>Previous low fractal&& Closing price[1]<Previous low fractal&& Low fractal>Previous low fractal
&& close[1]<open[1]
Mode 3 = low[0]>low fractal&& low[0]<low fractal+(open[1]-close[1])/2 && open[1]+(open[1]-close[1])<high fractal-(open[1]-close[1]) && low fractal<previous low fractal&& close[1]<open[1]
Mode 4 = Low[0]<Low Fractal&& Close[1]>Low Fractal&& Low Fractal<Previous Low Fractal
&& close[1]<open[1]
Mode 5 = off[3]<on[3] && off[2]>on[2] && off[1]<on[1]
&& close[2]>low fractal&& low fractal[2]<low fractal&& low fractal<previous low fractal
(The opposite is true for short patterns)
Group 2: These patterns are related to entering a trend after defining a new fractal, if the market gives us the possibility of entering a new trend.
Mode 6 = low[3]==low fractal&& low fractal <previous low fractal
&& close[3]>open[3] && close[2]>open[2] && close[1]<open[1]
Mode 7 = low[4]==low fractal&& low fractal <previous low fractal
&& close[4]>open[4] && close[3]>open[3] && close[2]>open[2] && close[1]<open[1]
Mode 8 = low[6]==low fractal&& low fractal <previous low fractal
&& close[5]>open[5] && close[4]>open[4] && close[3]>open[3] && close[2]<open[2] && close[1]<open[1]
Mode 9 = low[6]==low fractal&& low fractal <previous low fractal
&& close[6]>open[6] && close[5]>open[5] && close[4]>open[4] && close[3]>open[3] && close[2]<open[2] && close[1]<open[1]
(The opposite is true for short patterns)
I usually risk 1% per trade and use a stop loss order to place the stop loss on the other side of the current bar.
This is how I divide the positions
50% ends up with a risk/reward of 1 (if this is achieved then I am free to trade the other 50%).
25% ends with risk/reward 2
25% over, risk/reward 4
so:
- Expected risk/reward is 2
- I need at least 33% wins to break even
Experts please see attachments ( 5 digit broker ), mqh file (copy the mqh file in the containing folder) and my template. The template is very simple as we only need fractals.
